About
Jason Robert O'Kennedy

I seek the plains where amber grasses sway,
Where shadows of the past all fade away,
And hope is bathed in everlasting light.

This is the soil where I shall plant my name,
A legacy of peace for those to find,
To leave behind the hunger and the shame,
And cast the heavy burdens from my mind.

The distant peaks with promise in their breath,
Now call my spirit to a quiet shore,
To find a life that triumphs over death,
And walk in silent grace forevermore.

When day is through, the victory is won;
I’ve lived my life, I’m following the sun.
