Where I Go To Scream
I chase the sun, a gilded, burning guide,
Across the land to find the sapphire hue.
To leave the clamor of the world outside,
And walk until the sky is sharp and new.
I seek the silence of a lonely space,
A canvas painted in cerulean light,
Where I can find a solitary place,
To hide from judgment in the day or night.
For in this vastness, I can finally speak,
And let the fury that I hold erupt.
The winds will carry what I cannot keep,
And all the pain the world has built will corrupt.
In beautiful blue, where endless sands cry adry,
I find a space to scream beneath the sky
